We are pleased to announce that we have obtained authorization to carry out activities related to CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism).
CBAM is a new EU mechanism designed to reduce CO₂ emissions and create a level playing field between producers within the EU and those outside the Union.
The scope of the regulation will be gradually expanded — from 2028, the planned changes may cover products with a high steel and aluminium content, including selected processed goods and components.
For importers, this means new obligations related to emissions reporting and supply chain analysis.
At KönigStahl, we are continuously developing our expertise to provide comprehensive support to companies in preparing for upcoming changes and fulfilling their CBAM-related obligations.
